    Booking a ride at a balloon festival can be a great value for the balloon enthusiast, photographer or first time passenger.

    As for price, the ride is discounted to about as low a price as you will find anywhere in the area.  There are several reasons for this:  

1. The festival organization usually pays for the propane used during the event.

2. The balloons are already there on the field to fly so transportation costs don't come into the equation.

3. The pilots are eager to introduce the fans to balloon flight.

4. The balloons usually fly full or nearly full which is more cost efficient.
