Q: Is Ballooning really safe?
|
 |
A: Yes!, Ballooning is very safe. The speeds involved
are low. Our equipment is "state of the art" and deliberately
over designed and our FAA licensed pilots undergo regular recurrent training
at competitions and safety seminars.
|
 |
Q: What about your company's
safety record?
|
 | A: We have a perfect safety record. For over 14
years, no passenger has ever been injured in our balloon operations. We aim to
keep it that way!
|
 |
Q: What if we encounter bad weather
in flight?
|
 |
A: The short answer is "We don't!"
We call Flight Service for a personalized, up to the minute, pilot weather
briefing prior to every flight. In addition we have at our disposal
numerous computerized weather services and radar maps that we follow daily.
We are very conservative about choosing when and when not to fly
passengers.
|
 |
Q: What if we purchased an advance
ticket and our flight date gets cancelled?
|
 | A: We will simply reschedule you to our next available date
of your choosing. (In the case of rescheduling conflicts, the person
who bought the ticket earliest will be given preference over new
sales.) If you or your gift recipient change your minds
about flying the tickets may be sold or transferred anytime before the
flight date.
|
 |
Q: If I don't know exactly when I
want to fly should I wait?
|
 | A: If you want to fly, there is no reason to wait.
Lock it in now. The price will only go up and as we approach seasonal
peaks, space availability will go down. Simply call us as soon as you
know your intended date.

 |
Q: How do I know your company will
be around next year?
|
 | A: The Officers and Shareholders of Adventure Balloon, Inc.
have been operating successful family businesses in Connecticut for over 20
years. Our ballooning company, Adventure Balloon has been in operation
since 1990. In
every year of our existence we have grown and we plan to continue this
growth. We are very firmly rooted here in Connecticut. |
