The Plainville Fireman's Balloon Festival
Every year in late August (8/25/06 - 8/27/06) the Plainville Volunteer Fire Department puts on a Hot Time in Norton Park, Plainville CT Fireworks, crafts and four balloon launches over the weekend at 6am and 6pm, draw large crowds to this long time event. You can come down and see us for a tethered ride ($10.00 per person) on Friday and Saturday afternoon or reserve a flight on one of the morning flyouts. Contact the Plainville Fire Department non emergency number for general information about the festival. We do not have access to any festival information beyond what you see above.
